Summary of the July 7th Board of Directors Meeting (Minutes on the website greenviewridge.org):
Steve Coad was unanimously approved by the Boardto fill the vacancy on the Board.
Noted: A huge thank you to all the volunteers who contributed time and effort for our June 26th Pool Party.
Landscaping and Operations:. •Landscaping vendor will be contacted to replace the Poplar tree and shrubsthat are dead and trim the landscaping in the cul-de-sacs. Thanks are due to the Boy Scout who weeded the entrance to GVR as well as additional work.
•Treasurer Tiffany Vogel reports receipt of current year 2015 Home Owner Dues of $575 each for most of the home owners.Bank deposits have been made and water, electricity and landscaping and utility bills have been paid.Owners with outstanding accounts are being notified of dues being in arrears.
Business Items:.
•A discussion was held regarding appropriating funds for unbudgeted expense items e.g. pool vandalism, storm tree damage in common areas, tuck pointing in entrance and fountain area and vine removal.
•The contractor repairing the cracks in the tennis courts has been delayed due to the need for dry weather.
•Additional pool chairs and tables will be purchased this fall to replace furniture showing wear.
•Yard of the Month for July was awarded TBA.
•A survey to determine what additional activities Residents may want was conducted at the Pool Party. Results will be published in the Summer Newsletter. For those who missed the Survey, a link to the Survey is on the GVR website.
•A security system will be purchased and installed in the swimming pool area. Shawnee police are continuing to monitor the area.
