Hi friends! For those of you wanting to come out this weekend for some Sol River stewardship the best times to lendca few extra hands would be Saturday afternoon and Sunday. You are welcome to camp out if you would like!
A few upcoming projects to be worked on:
● Clearing field and laying out posts to set hoop house.
● Building small orchard gate
● Leveling out RV/camper site
Just a few extras hands would be helpful at this stage. Raising the hoop house might require a few more hands.
I would like to also put a general call out to farmers, gardeners and herbalists who need land to do their crafts. When we purchased this property, my late partner John Lewis was our farmers with years of experience growing food and teaching youth how to... I still have much to learn, and would love if someone with the knowledge and skills was wanting to utilize this land to grow organic food and medicines potentially to sell and for our community. There is plenty of growing space! This would not be in live on the land position at this time, must be able to commute.
