Friends and fellow fun seekers,
After three wonderful years, I've made the bittersweet decision to close ExperiRents.
When I started this little business, the goal was simple: help people create memories, try new things, have fun together, and keep it affordable for the average family. It's been an honor to play a small part in so many graduation parties, wedding receptions, family reunions, fundraisers, camping trips, and backyard celebrations over the years.
As a one-person operation, I've also realized that the weekends spent delivering gear are the same weekends I want to spend making memories with my own family. Over the past few years, our family's life has evolved in ways I couldn't have imagined when ExperiRents began. Our children are growing up, our responsibilities have shifted, and new opportunities continue to emerge. As much as I've loved seeing ExperiRents play a role in so many adventures for other families, it's time for me to step back and create more space to be present for the adventures still ahead for my own family. Its important to me that I don't stretch myself so thin that the adventures of life stop feeling fun.
So while it's time to close this chapter, I'm incredibly grateful for everyone who supported ExperiRents along the way. My hope is that the spirit of adventure, connection, and trying something new lives on in our community long after this business is gone.
For those who have rental reservations already made, don't worry. I will continue to fulfill all existing orders as scheduled. I am simply turning off the rental calendar for new rentals as I phase out of ExperiRents. The last day of operation will be June 24.
For anyone interested, much of the ExperiRents equipment will be available for purchase during the Howards Grove Village Yard Sale:
