Mount Harmony Farm & VT Vacation Guest House

Mount Harmony Farm & VT Vacation Guest House RADICAL HOSPITALITY..2-story Guest House with Old World touches, lots of amenities....BIODYNAMIC FARM. Downstairs is a Futon Couch Bed.

The Carriage House in VT's NEK has privacy, comfort, inspiring beauty, and easy accessibility --"An AWESOME place to completely chill out." Upstairs there are 2 King-size beds, a Full size bed (all very comfortable), a Captain's Bed, and 1.5 bathrooms. This is a wonderful place to slow down, unwind and spend time indoors or out in nature. The giant picture window has some of the best views inthe

NEK. In Spring and Summer the Spring Peepers and frogs are very vocal. On clear nights you can star gaze (check for when the meteor showers are), and the Luna Moths are late at night from mid-June thru mid-July. 18 minutes away is a Burke Mtn. ski resort & Kingdom Trails. The SE corner of our property is often referred to as Moose Bog, frequented sometimes at twilight by Moose. Our farm animals are mesmerizing & fun to watch. Although the livestock, pastures and paddocks are not openly accessible for our guests, there are many opportunities to
take part in farm chores if you would like to. Come stay here, and you won't want to leave.

After 82 years, Merle Pearson milked his cows for the last time. He started milking cows at five years old, 21 years later he bought his own farm. He started by carrying buckets and straining milk himself before installing a pipeline and adding stalls and kept those 52 stalls full for the last 45 years.

Sun setting due west for the Vernal equinox. Early crops (esp. our yummy beets and whatever corn the raccoons didn't get) are out and the late crops are starting to be taken in (leeks and some potatoes). Tomatoes had a rough time, but we still had plenty to eat. Best potatoes this year: German butterball--definitely want more next year (productive and sooo yummy)!
