The Bridge of Flowers is coming back to life and starting to look like its former self — already a beautiful, colorful walk! Huge thanks to all the volunteers who've put in so many hundreds of hours to make this happen, after a major screwup by the soil supplier last year.

Celebration in Shelburne Falls today for the official re-opening of the Bridge of Flowers! 🌸✨

The first two photos are views from the Shelburne Fire Tower overlooking the village this morning, followed by moments from the ceremony, and finally a walk across the bridge itself.

A huge thank-you to all the volunteers — they’ve done an amazing job bringing the bridge back to life and making it look so beautiful in such a short time!

We were treated to the rising of the full Sturgeon moon last evening over the Bridge of Flowers which is looking better every day. This photo was taken just before a huge meteorite streaked across the sky.
