Built in 1858, Huddlestone's Hideaway is a beautifully maintained historic home nestled within a quaint lake community. Enjoy the charm, warmth, history, and privacy of our home by staying in one of our four rooms, each with its own personality and perks. We encourage our guests to enjoy all our home has to offer during their stay, including a wrap-around porch, gardens, enclosed patio, two kitchens, dining room, library, parlor, family room, and game room. Reflecting our appreciation for cultural history, the house is filled with antique furniture, quilts, dishes, and books. We value interacting with our guests and listening to their stories while respecting their desires for privacy. As trained chefs, we delight in preparing our guests their favorite dishes and exposing them to new culinary experiences--showing our guests how full flavors don’t have to come at the expense of nutritional value. Children are most welcome, as the house is a delight for them to explore! The Hideaway's sheer size and versatility allows us customize your experience, and it is a great place for small or large groups. We offer whole or partial house rentals and are happy to accommodate weddings, honeymoons, showers, birthday parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, reunions, poetry readings, bible studies, sales demonstrations, corporate stays, and photography shoots. With RV hookup, boat parking, and plenty of space for additional sleeping areas, the Hideaway is ready to cater to your needs!
