One more reason to spend some time on Main Street! If you’re staying with us at Saddlebred Suites, this is a great way to get out and explore a little more of downtown Shelbyville and its history.

The Shelby County Kentucky Historical Society has updated its walking tour through the Shelby Main Street. Now, it's your turn to experience it. 🏛️ Two guided tours hosted by the fantastic Brian Cushing will take place on October 9 at 3PM and on October 21 at 2PM. Both of these will be free to join and you can email [email protected] to RSVP.

If you can't make it to either of those, you can complete a self-guided tour by picking up a brochure from inside the museum. For some history, exercise and soaking up the beautiful autumn weather, there's hardly a better way to spend a day!
