Awesome hunt and great work getting this bird. Fun watching Colton grow into the hunter he is! We worked and crawled to get this bird that wouldn’t leave the woods. After crawling through the woods and following some drainages to get in close, it finally all came together about 8:00. The bird and hen stepped out from behind a low spot and some brush, but didn’t realize Colton was laying prone just 15 steps from him. Proud dad moment!
