The view from the river room is always nice and peaceful, but sometimes there’s activity too!! The deer and turkeys have been regular visitors lately and I’m not mad about it 😁

The snowmobile trails are open!! If you’re looking for somewhere to stay and hop on the trails for some riding, we can be that for you!! The snowmobile trail is easily accessible from the lodge by going through the ditch about a 1/4 mile, or hop on the river at the cabin, plenty of folks are riding the river right now as well.
We have discounted “off season” rates right now through the end of March!! Message me to book your stay!!!

A little throwback on this snowy Tuesday morning. These photos were taken 2 years ago today when we started tearing the old “cabin” down to get ready for what’s there now. I remember this day and thinking “oh my, how in the world are we ever going to get this done”. It was just Stephen and I most of the time. 1 or 2 friends would come help out once in a while, and I’m so so SO grateful for them!! But starting this process was VERY overwhelming. To see what’s there now, look back at all the hard work, blood, sweat, and tears, it was so worth it. And I’m so blessed that so many folks from all over have been able to come and enjoy its coziness and beauty. It’s not something I take for granted, ever, and I absolutely love sharing it with people (if you couldn’t tell 😁)!!!

(Also, so crazy the weather we had that winter, the river never froze and we were able to work on tearing that building down all winter long)
