Good morning and thanks for joining in for the thought for today. 1Thessalonians 4:16-17 We will continue with our thoughts on "The Church and its future." Yesterday we seen the future of the church in the world, today we will look at some thoughts on the church in the air. We shall be caught up: in our incorruptible, glorified bodies (Read 1Corinthians 15:42-44). To meet the Lord in the heavens and for the great majority of the church we will see Him in His resurrected body for the first time (Read 1John 3:2). That our works may be judged at the judgment seat of Christ (2Cor.5:10). This is the bema judgment. That we may be rewarded or suffer loss of reward (Read 1Corinthians 3:11-15). The future of the church in the Kingdom, the twelve apostles will set on thrones and judge the twelve tribes of Israel ( Read Matthew 19:28). All who overcome the evils of Christendom (Laodicea) will set with Christ on His Kingdom Throne (Read Revlation 3:21). We shall reign with Him for a thousand years (Read Revlation 20:4-6). The future of the church in eternity we will look at tomorrow. Have a blessed day keep on keeping on for our lord.
