We always look forward to seeing Robin and Harry Lee’s vibrant smiles every Sunday! ❤️

After moving from Nashville to Adamsville years ago, Robin and Harry are preparing to return to Nashville to be closer to their sons and grandchildren. While we’re certainly going to miss seeing them each Sunday, we’re so happy for this special new chapter with their family!

Robin, former owner of Restormi Home Designing and Tempo Boutique, has been such a wonderful asset to the Downtown Events Alliance, helping bring energy and enthusiasm to the “Biggest Little Town in Tennessee!”

And Harry is making the most of his free time on the golf course! ⛳ He enjoys playing with a Christian golfing team and will be heading to Memphis this weekend for a golf tournament. We’re wishing him lots of luck!

Robin and Harry, you will certainly be missed at Hagy’s! Thank you for your friendship, your smiles, and for making us part of your Sunday tradition. We wish you many wonderful memories with your children and grandchildren as you begin this next chapter back in Nashville. ❤️🐟

Shiloh National Military Park has a great event coming up this Saturday, September 5!

Come out for the final cannon firing demonstrations of the season and experience the sights, sounds, and power of Civil War artillery in action. Demonstrations are scheduled for 10:00 AM, 11:30 AM, 1:30 PM, and 3:00 PM — and admission is FREE.

And while you’re at Shiloh, make a day of it! Hagy’s Catfish Hotel is just a short drive away, so come see a little history and then join us for some hot hushpuppies, catfish, and Southern hospitality on the Tennessee River.

Miss Opal and Anderson Hall, former owners of Alexander Hall Grocery in Savannah, would be so proud of this crew — especially that cute little great-grandson, River!

Anderson Hall cut our steaks for years, and we can tell you firsthand: nobody could outwork Anderson Hall!

It was wonderful having Sherry and Dennis Hall, their daughter Molly and her son River, along with Carole and Jerry Coats, back with us.

We love welcoming church groups to the Catfish Hotel! ❤️

A big thank you to our friends from Jumpertown Methodist Church in Mississippi for making the trip to visit us. There’s just something special about good food, good fellowship, and a table full of friends.

Church groups have been gathering around our tables for generations, and we’re always honored when we get to be part of the fellowship. Come back and see us soon! 🐟

We were so glad this fun group of retired Waynesboro Elementary School teachers chose the Catfish Hotel for their get-together this month. They meet every other month, and this was their first visit with us!

After years of lesson plans and keeping kids in line, we’d say they’ve earned the catfish and hushpuppies. 🐟

Andrette Morrison, Kamisha Edmond, and Lashonda Spears have the talent to light up a restaurant with their personality and laughter! We always notice those 5-inch stiletto heels — they walk in them like runway models! But they let us in on a little secret: as soon as they step down from singing in the choir at Macedonia Baptist Church, those heels come off and get tucked under the bench, traded in for flats!
