For those of you that didn't know.... 7 weeks ago tonight, I stepped into a deep hole just as I reached out to hold onto a a big fence post, slammed my arm / stretched upward and back over my head as my body lunged forward and I went down into the hole all while doing the splits with my left leg.
It dislodged my shoulder and broke it zigzag across my upper arm/shoulder bone that's attached to my rotator cuff. Thankfully I could reach up with my right hand to bring the left arm down. Dr said, he doesn't know how I did it, but I put it neatly back in place. (The Lord did it ! Just like He helped me out of the hole)
They said it's a 90 day healing process with wearing a sling. After that therapy for another 3-6 months. Could be up to a year before I get all of my strength back !
I'm taking some great pills that I feel are really helping and a church lady makes her own tincture for deep tissue, which I rub on a few times a day.
All this happened while I was in Ohio to be primary caregivers for both my parents. My dad has dementia & my mom had shoulder surgery 5 weeks prior to me falling and breaking my shoulder.
My parents are both 86 & need someone there with them 75% of the time. My plans are to go be with them and come back to my BnB as time permits.
While I'm here at the BNB , I'll do Bed & Breakfast. While I'm in Ohio I'll do the main floor of house as an Airbnb.
Meanwhile from Feb to April I really prayed for an answer as to what should I do with the house/property .... Sell ? 😭 Don't want to do that.... Rent it out and no more BnB , no don't want that either.... I loved the bed n breakfast or Airbnb. After much prayer, out of the blue I got a call.... Would I consider renting the basement apartment (where I live /reside at) to a very young ( 25ish) widower who lost the love of his life a year ago due to an accident after being married only 2 short years. Thank you Lord for sending Jason my way ! Not only will he live/rent here in the basement, but he will be my handyman, maintenance and lawn guy. He just bought a masonry business so he will be busy with that, working late hours. He's a very nice young, respectful Amish guy ! He will keep to himself, however if he's outside working in the yard, he'll be happy to chat with you.
So only God holds the future, and I know He will provide for me financially so that I can keep the house and keep on providing a safe place for guests to stay ! I love to be able to add joy , peace, rest, relax & rejuvenate to all our guests and we hope you'll stay with us again !
In the meantime I'm concentrating on healing my shoulder and arm , running back n forth from here to Ohio.... Loving int my dear precious parents whom I love so much ! Doing the best I can for them ! Prayers are appreciated for sure !
