There have been, I will just say it, criminal hacking of the business listing for the Sleep For Less.
Law enforcement has advised us to make a public notice here that the ONLY phone number related to the business is 308 249 1007.
Please do not book via any online listing.
Please use extreme caution giving credit or debt card information to anyone to book a hotel room, whether it be us or any other property. Wow, I cannot believe this is the world we now live in. Be careful folks!

Happy Fall!!
New booking information.
Starting November 2025 and going forward we will not be using online booking venues any longer. You are most welcome to call for a reservation at 308 249 1007.
This is part of an ongoing effort to control overhead costs and return to a more simple, stress-free mode of living, both for us and our wonderful guests.

Some of our guests have been staying with us for our entire 25 years as owners here.
Tonight I checked in one such guest who is on her way to visit her mom. Yet another of so many trips over the years. As a family they have cared so tenderly for their dear mom. She will be turning 106 years old this month!!
Join me in wishing her a very happy birthday and safe travels to her family.

Giddy up! The Pony Express Re-ride is about to start in THREE Days!

How can I see the Pony Express Re-ride in person?

As the riders make their way from St. Joseph, Missouri to Sacramento, California, there are scheduled exchanges where the riders will hand off the mochila and a new rider will continue the delivery. The ride takes place 24 hours a day so some of these happen in the middle of the night!

Though the schedule is subject to change, here are the some of the places that you can watch an exchange or see the riders ride by (during daylight hours!): go.nps.gov/ReRideSchedule
