We have two oversized suites, each sleeping up to five people. There is a swimming pool, fire pit, and several courtyards to relax, read a book or watch the many interesting birds found in this area. We area dog friendly property, with two and a half acres fenced in to keep your dog secure. There are two and half more acres across the San Pedro River that have yet to be developed.

I wish I could put this FB to sleep but maybe there is a reason for it to be around. We had 17 fabulous years in Sierra Vista operating the Lazy Dog Ranch. So many great memories were made with our friends and guests. It saddens me that the new owners of 3123 N. Thistle Road are such conniving liars. They still owe us $13,000 for furniture, art, ranch truck and horse trailer. In addition to refusing to pay, they went to court to get a restraining order against Michael for which they LIED UNDER OATH. I am a believer in karma. I know this will catch up to them. I feel badly for their children, their employers and our former neighbors. Aletris Neil had the audacity to threaten me via email, which is laughable. Please avoid interacting with this so called educator.

Today we sign off of our Lazy Dog Ranch page for good. We so enjoyed our 16 plus years meeting guests and friends. We are officially in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico and about to embark on a home renovation project. We are here with our two cats and four dogs!

The La y Dog Ranch may no longer be there but its new incarnation is Ocelot Oasis Wildlufe Sanctuary and Guest Farm. Check it out!

Well this time it is for real! The Lazy Dog Ranch is no more.

The movers are here and we will be on the road on Tuesday, May 14. We will cherish the many memories shared with our guests over the last 16 plus years. Thank you for your kindness. We leave behind a loving legacy and the spirits of our beloved animal companions that are no longer with us. Mack, Misty, Zorra, Patron, Carmen, Lucy, Thor, Ginger and Hazel. Maggie and Rita are happy in their new home and Quinn, Porter, Odin and Angus will soon be barking in Spanish. The cats, Evita and Roxie, will of course be coming, too.

Well, it’s finally happened. We have sold the ranch and are moving to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. We will be eternally grateful for all of the supportive guests and friends we’ve made over these years. The new owners are a wonderful family who will continue to take on guests. As details emerge, we will post them here. Thank you all!!!!
