Hello everyone! I have been missing in action all Winter because I really did not have much to show or talk about. I guess the Covid 19 has hit us all with a feeling of tiredness to down right lazy and for some reason, I just could not get myself together to have the interest to send pictures or even let you know what was going on around here. Well...this is all going to change, because as you know, this business is near and dear to my heart and I, again, want to pour my heart and soul back into it! This is one of those things in my life that I feel is important and I want to keep it going as long as I can, attempting to make it better and better with each year! So, this weekend was one of the most perfect weekends we could have asked for! They were saying that it was going to rain most of the time, but we did not get any wet from the sky until early this evening as it was becoming night fall. We did have a FULL HOUSE, meaning both tiny house and apartment were being used! Here is to the beginning of the Summer!! The couple who came to stay in the Tiny House have been enjoying all of the amenities we have to offer and got to enjoy some fresh caught crabs! There were only a few, but enough to make them happy! Both parents took the children on golf cart rides and even felt comfortable letting them drive! They did such a great job at it too! They were great to have here and we really did enjoy the many conversationsI I am thinking that we were all a little nervous about the Covid thing, but that did not stop them from making the best out of their vacation! Like the rest of the World, they too, needed to stay home and stay quarantined in the attempt to keep us safe. Well, they succeeded!!!! There were two families and not long after all were in and settled, the kids were playing together, the adults were sitting around chatting and all of us were just having a great and relaxing time with no worries and yes, social distancing was part of our weekend! I am going to really miss them when they leave, but can feel blessed that they came here and am honored to have gotten to know them and can say that I have made new friends! I was really hoping that after 5 days of my crab pots soaking with bait, that I would have had enough crab for everyone, but there were only a few they could keep, but you know how good they were!!! I do not know what is going on with the Chesapeake Bay at the moment, but by this time of year, the fish and crabs are usually very abundant....Well, this year they are not. We have joked around about them feeling the need to quarantine, but perhaps there is a little bit of truth to that! Hopefully things will catch up real soon! Our calendar is full for June and July, but August still has a few openings! I hope to see you soon!
