Silver City was one of the main stops on the 2026 Black Hills 100 Ultra Marathon this weekend.

The marathon offered distances of 100 and 50 miles, or 50 and 30 kilometers following the Centennial Trail (Trail #89) and Deerfield Trail (Trail #40).

The Silver City Community Center (Schoolhouse) was the starting point for the 50-mile version and the turn-around point for the 100-mile run.

Here is where you can learn more about our race information. The Black Hills Ultra Marathon is run in June every year on the Centennial Trail
