Last night, I passed the final exam to become a certified Short-Term Rental Safety Inspector throught the program offered by Breezeway. Not only will this empower me to more confidently ensure our lakehouse is better prepared to prevent hazards from ruining guest getaways, but I'll be certified to inspect STRs for other hosts protecting the safety of their guests. More to come in the next few weeks!

In one of our scheduled guest communication messages, we include a brief list of restaurants. We don’t want to overwhelm them with options so we note only a small variety of options. Until today, our guests have thanked us for those recommendations without naming which they may have patronized.

Today that changed and we want to thank Twisted Oaks for making such an impression that our guest felt compelled to mention them in the check-out message sent to us as they were leaving. This our local favorite restaurant and we’re glad to see our guest, from Louisville KY, had an awesome experience there too.
