What a fun afternoon! 😊
Today, my Corporate Director of Sales, Beth, and I decided to experience Washington, DC just like our guests do! We walked from the DoubleTree by Hilton Silver Spring DC North to the Silver Spring Metro Station and hopped on the Red Line straight to the Woodley Park–Zoo/Adams Morgan Metro Station to visit the Smithsonian’s National Zoo.
The trip was quick, easy, and a great reminder of just how convenient our location is for guests visiting our nation’s capital.
Unfortunately, we arrived a little after 5:00 p.m., and the zoo had already stopped admitting visitors. Lesson learned! 😄
If you’re planning a trip to see the pandas and all the amazing animals:
🐼 Reserve your FREE zoo pass in advance.
🖨️ Bring a printed copy of your pass (or check the zoo’s latest admission requirements before your visit).
⏰ Arrive before 5:00 p.m., as that’s the last admission time.
Even though we didn’t make it inside, we had a wonderful time exploring together and learning even more about the guest experience. Sometimes the journey is just as rewarding as the destination!
