Good Morning Everyone,

We reached out to Governor Mills office for more information about campgrounds and her plan for the reopening of rural businesses. Unfortunately, her office responded with an email last evening and said all campgrounds can only open June 1st. 🤷‍♀️ If anything changes I will let you all know! See you soon!

Good Afternoon Everyone! I hope everyone had a restful winter. We are so excited to see everyone this summer! I know things will probably be a little different with all this craziness but at least we'll be outside and hopefully the weather will be gorgeous!

So, I do have some information regarding opening this year that comes directly from the State of Maine and the Health Inspector.

For those of you who are coming out of state and your camper is considered your only summer home, you may come on opening weekend, Memorial Weekend. You must self quarantine and take the appropriate measures for supplies. We will post more guidelines in the future.

Due to the say at home order those of you who are a seasonal camper and have a home in neighboring towns may only start staying at your camper on June 1st.

If you have a home in Maine, but use your camper as a full time summer home, we do not have an answer for that question. And by that, I mean you stay at your camper all week/weekend long and do not go back and forth from your camper to your home. We are still waiting for clarification on that question.

All our public restrooms/showers and the pavilion will have to remain closed until further notice. We will have guidelines posted in the office about social distancing and etc.

We understand that this is not what everyone wanted to hear but unfortunately this is mandated by the state. Luckily, it's only one week/weekend that will be effected by these COVID 19 rules and regulations. We would rather lose one weekend than lose our license for the season or longer.

As for those of you hearing that other campgrounds are opening before June 1st to all their customers. That is between those campgrounds and the State of Maine. I am just following what I have been told from the State of Maine and from the Health Inspector. I hope everyone understands and hope to see you all very soon! Stay safe and healthy!
