With the road construction on Hwy 75, be sure to check out this map from the City of Sioux Center to help make getting around a little easier.

TRAFFIC ALERT:
The 7th St. N crossing of Highway 75 will be opening today (Friday) to east-west traffic near Casey’s gas station. 🎉
All traffic must stop at this intersection. The traffic signals will be flashing red. Please use extra caution as there will still be a lot of construction traffic in this area.
A huge thanks to all the contractors who focused on this area to get 7th St. open before the first day of school!

A closure remains in place for Highway 75 from 5th to just south of 7th St. N and from just north of 7th St. N to near 12th St. N as crews continue to move this project toward completion. Drivers can use the gravel crossing at 9th St. NW to access Econo Lodge, Mi Lupita, and other businesses on the east side of the highway there.

📦🎓 Headed to Sioux Center for Dordt Move-In? A few quick tips!

🛒 Forgot something? Don’t panic! Sioux Center has plenty of places nearby to grab those last-minute dorm necessities.

🍔 Plan some extra time for meals. Move-In Week means lots of extra families around town, so your favorite local spots may be a little busier than usual!

💧 Bring water & dress comfortably. Hauling boxes and making approximately 47 trips from the car to the dorm is a workout. 😅

📋 Double-check your list before you leave home. Chargers, medications, important documents and those little things you swore you packed are always worth checking twice.

And most importantly — enjoy it. Take the pictures, give the extra hug and soak in the moment. 🖤💛
