We are just 2 miles down the road from this good old fashioned festival. It is our favorite of all the festivals. 🔥
Ephraim's annual Fyr Bal Festival is celebrating 61 years on Saturday, June 20, and you're invited!
Meaning "Fire Ball" in Norwegian, this festival is about the burning of the winter witch and ushering in the long days of summer.
if you've never been to Fyr Bal, here's what's in store:
🌅 Stunning sunset views over Eagle Harbor (this happens ALL the time, but we think the sunsets are magically better on Fyr Bal weekend)
🔥 Glowing bonfires lining the beach at dusk
👑 The crowning of the Fyr Bal Chieftain (honoring a person in the village for their outstanding community service)
🎶 Live music, food, and family fun
🎆 A spectacular fireworks finale over the water
