Located in the historic Village of Skaneateles off of the main street yet only steps to the pristine lake, boutique shops and restaurants in combination with its elegant, luxurious and whimsical interiors is sure to please even the most discriminating traveler. Your private entrance off of the grand columned porch welcomes you into the main area at 34 State where you will find spacious rooms with original historic details but with all the modern amenities one could ever need. The property offers two well-appointed designer suites consisting of a separate living room, bedroom and bathroom totaling approximately 600-650 square feet each. In addition to your suite you have full use of the generously sized downstairs area including a formal sitting room with grand piano and gas fireplace, dining room, and guest pantry. Outdoors there is a spacious yard and colonial style porch outfitted with wicker furniture to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or glass of wine in the evening. Several expansions have been made to this historic home over the years, landing it with more than 5000 sq. feet of living space in total. The owners live on premises in private living quarters should you need anything during your stay, but will allow you all the privacy of enjoying the main portion of the property in addition to your suite. The home of 34 State was built in 1834 and was once the home of famed painter John Barrow. Our Skaneateles Library features a gallery of his beautiful and timeless paintings that is a must see while visiting Skaneateles. Luxuries included in your Stay:
