So just to put this out there. Sometime this fall we will be doing a hike with a Ranger. I can not give a date for this yet because I want to make sure the leaves have changed and there are some on the ground. I will also do a live stream so if you are unable to make it in person, you can at least enjoy the beauty of nature with us. Stay tuned for further.

Just filled the hummingbird feeder back up and was just standing next to it when I was overrun with little friends.

While out on patrol I seen these cute babies. Come on out to Barren River Lake State Reeort Park and enjoy all that nature has for you.

Your Rangers are kicking off the Memorial Day Weekend with a Ranger walk. Ranger Atwood, along with Naturalist Amanda, can be seen walking with some guests out to Peter’s Creek Trail. We will be doing another one on Memorial Day at 10am starting from the back pavalion at Highland field. Hope to see you there.
