There were only a few hours this morning where it looked like we might get a break in the weather to cross the Tangier Sound over to Smith Island — and it ended up being a beautiful ride. The boys had a blast.

The forecast this weekend may not be ideal, but we’re looking forward to slowing down and making the most of it with books, puzzles, friends, hopefully a little fishing, and most importantly… CRABS! 🦀

Little update from Pelican Cove 🔨🌊

We’ve been busy working on the shed—new siding is going up and the storage addition is really starting to come together. This space will be for bikes, kayaks, and all the fun stuff, with a ramp to make it easy to grab and go.

We’re also working on getting a second golf cart set up just for guests. It’s not ready quite yet, but it’s coming!
