These guys come to Miss Alda’s Inn every year to compete at GTI. They are so kind, polite, and quiet. I always welcome them back each year. It is so refreshing to be around a group of men who are respectful and have manners. Gives me hope for the world!

I enjoyed having the McMasters share Easter Sunday morning with me at Miss Alda’s Inn.

Some guests visiting this weekend enjoyed some new rocking chairs on the front porch. First time in 100 years there have been new rocking chairs on this wonderful family home front porch. And later that week our guests surprised Butterbean with a new doggy bowl from the Masters golf tournament and gifted me with a coffee mug from the masters. What fun I had visiting with them

I’m going to really miss these guys. They have been staying at Miss Alda’s Inn off and on for over 2 years. They have become like family. They have worked so hard at Cascades and now the plant is closing. I had to teach Ben from Canada to like some Southern dishes such as grits. We shared a dinner of Beaufort stew last night. I’ve loved learning about their wonderful families and hope they will bring them back to SC for a visit. Barnwell County will miss this company and I’ll miss these great friends.

Delicious Crab Cake Benedict for breakfast and a new king size bed welcome you at Miss Alda’s Inn. When this house was built in 1925 they had never heard of king size beds. Electric car chargers instead of hitching posts and king size beds have slowly moved us into 2022.
