Who is coming to the Balloon Festival and Oktoberfest this weekend?!

The most colorful time of the year is back this weekend with the Snowmass Balloon Festival, a longtime favorite tradition in the Roaring Fork Valley.

The festival kicks off with the Night Glow on Friday, September 25 at 7pm, where balloons inflate and glow against the night sky. Start the day off on a high note Saturday and Sunday, 7am-9am, when the balloons take flight with the backdrop of Snowmass Ski Area, Capitol Peak, Mt. Daly, and expansive golden color.

After the Balloon Festival, stick around Snowmass for breakfast in the Village, ride the Coney Express lift to The Cabin for Brunch, and attend Oktoberfest in Base Village beginning at 12pm both Saturday and Sunday.

*Note: you can ride the Coney Express chairlift for $20 or with a 2026 season pass to Brunch. Otherwise, you are welcome to hike or bike to The Cabin. Reservations are highly recommended, and walk-ins are welcome as space allows.
