Everyone we’ve worked with so far, from the courthouse to local businesses, has been kind and helpful. It’s made the process a lot smoother getting everything ready.

Snyder is going STATEWIDE and YOU can be part of the story.

The City of Snyder has been recognized with the Texas Environmental Excellence Award, and on April 25,2026 film crews from Austin will be here capturing our Sparkle City Cleanup in action.

That footage won’t just sit on a shelf. It will be featured at the official award banquet on June 9, 2026 at the Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin.

This is more than a cleanup. This is a chance to showcase Snyder’s pride, momentum, and economic strength to a statewide audience.

Hey Snyder, your top two suggestions in yesterday's poll were Lone Star Plaza, and Legacy Plaza. Lets keep the momentum going to name our space.

We received many great suggestions, and the level of participation reflects how much this community cares about this new space.

The name suggestion poll shows that your votes aligned around two clear themes: identity, represented by names such as bluebonnets, longhorns, and frontier, and legacy, represented by names honoring people, the white buffalo, and deep creek. These themes are reflected in the pie chart shared with the poll results.

Tex-Haus is coming together in Snyder, Texas.

Located at 1900 E Roby Hwy, this 36-room property is being refreshed with a focus on clean design, strong roadside presence, and long-term potential.
