Nothing beats a little lodge crew time around the smoker.

Today’s project: Cajun smoked salmon and brown sugar smoked salmon. Two totally different flavors, both packed with that rich Alaska salmon goodness.

Good fish, good food, and a crew that knows how to make the most of the harvest. Safe to say this batch won’t last long.

Talk about a once in a lifetime moment!

One of our guests got the surprise of a lifetime when this salmon shark came up to the boat. Getting to see one of these incredible predators up close is something you never forget.

We also made sure nothing went to waste. All of the meat was harvested and it was absolutely delicious, the skin was sent off to be made into leather, the massive tail is at the taxidermist, and the jaws were preserved.

A truly unforgettable Alaska experience and one we’ll be talking about for years!

Trophy trout fishing is heating up on the Kenai!

The big rainbows are getting active and we’re starting to see some incredible fish. Late summer on the Kenai is one of our favorite times of the year, and the trout fishing is only getting better.
