The reds are here!

Sockeye are entering the Kasilof River, and with another huge return forecasted this year, we’re excited for what’s ahead.

Nothing beats a day on the river chasing chrome bright reds and filling the cooler with some of the best eating salmon Alaska has to offer. The run is underway and the fishing is only getting better. We still have a few openings available.

The wait is almost over!

The Kasilof River sockeye run kicks off this month, bringing some of the best action of the summer to Alaska’s road-accessible fisheries. Hard-fighting fish, coolers filling up, and memories made with family and friends it’s what June on the Kasilof is all about.

It won’t be long now!

King salmon season is almost here, and the anticipation is building! any day anglers will be battling some of Alaska’s most powerful and sought-after fish. Few things compare to the excitement of seeing a big king roll on the surface and hearing that reel scream.

June is prime time for targeting kings on the Kasilof River, and our calendar still has a few openings available. If a photo like this is on your bucket list, now is the time to make it happen.

Willow our Assistant Lodge Manager.
Her daily responsibilities include guarding her ball and supervising the benches, and patiently waiting for guests to arrive so she can collect belly rubs and inspect snacks.

She may appear to be sleeping on the job, but don’t be fooled she’s conserving energy for greeting every truck that pulls in.

Willow takes her position very seriously around here… especially if treats are involved. 🐾

If you’ve spent time on our private sockeye lot on the Kenai River, chances are you’ve seen Darron in action. He works hard helping guests hook fish, stay organized, and leave with coolers loaded full of fresh Alaska sockeye salmon.

From first timers to experienced anglers, Darron puts in the extra effort to make sure guests have a great experience and plenty of fish to take home.

King salmon season is almost here! June is prime time for targeting kings on the Kasilof River as fresh fish push in from the ocean and the action heats up fast.

Looking for more opportunities at trophy kings? Feeder kings in Kachemak Bay are available all summer long and make an awesome option for guests wanting to chase salmon in the saltwater.

We still have some availability this season for guests looking to experience the power of an Alaska king salmon. Bent rods, screaming drags, and chrome fish are right around the corner!
