5 Loaves & 2 Fish

Dad has been the bread maker. He called it 'Athabascan Bread'. It was my mothers bread that she learned from her mother who raised ten kids on it from a wood oven on the Yukon River. I sat by him and recorded how he made it and have been making it daily now for some time. Loving its texture, touch, and smell.

"Send down upon us Thy heavenly food and confer upon us Thy bounty."

Driving all day-trip to Homer. Pulled right in to the house, got out. Ting started barking right away, Katifornsky yowling too. "What on Gods green earth is going on?" I exclaimed getting out of the car to look back and see these two moose I had careened by as I pulled in to park!!!!! Yeah, wow! Love our moose-minus their chowing down on the apple tree and garden ornamentals. Lol. Please be kind and respectful of these dear and fierce creatures.
