⭐️BEFORE it was the Franklin Inn, it was the Van Liew Homestead built in 1756, and known locally as the "Annie Van Liew House" after the feisty matriarch SUED THE PANTS OFF the British Crown for property damage and theft during the Revolutionary War--AND WON!🇺🇸⭐️ Annie and most of her neighbors would have spoke Dutch when they were together🇳🇱 Dutch settler homes are among the oldest structures in NJ and they--and the MANY STORIES THEY HAVE TO TELL--should be restored and preserved to connect the present and future to the past AND YOU CAN BE PART OF THE EFFORT!⭐️
