What a great weekend at K Bar K!!! We hosted another new group (well, mostly new) this past weekend. A couple of ladies have been here before, but it was a first time for the majority of ladies! They worked so quickly and got so many quilts completed that I probably only have pictures of half of them! They were productive!!!

Looking at our calendar, we only have a couple of openings for this fall and next spring is filling up quickly. If you need a stress free sewing / crafting weekend with your friends, be sure to get your group on the books! Don’t miss out on the fun!

This last group was a mix of card makers, scrapbookers, digital scrapbooker and quilters! I love how ladies with so many different hobbies come together and enjoy the visitation and creativity with each other!

I didn’t take a lot of photos but here are a few.

The fall groups are starting to book their spring retreats for next year. Be sure to get your group on the calendar if you want to come next spring.

We have a number of people expressing interest in both dates for the open retreat, although not enough to reach the minimum required for either date.

Let's set a deadline of August 1st to decide whether the retreat will make.

Hello to all of my quilting ladies…I’m planning an “open retreat” with a class option for either October 1-4 or November 5-8. Please let me know if you’re interested and which weekend works best!

The class would sew this cute flag wall hanging using a ruler that helps to make perfect flying geese. I love learning how to use new rulers, the more, the merrier!

The most recent group of scrapbookers were a blast as always. I had the opportunity to participate in the project this time and created my own sign.

With only a few openings remaining for the rest of the year be sure to get yours on the calendar!!

I honestly can’t believe we have been open for 5 years!!! The “Open Anniversary Retreat” we hosted was so much fun! I love it when ladies from different areas come together…arriving as strangers and leaving as new friends. It is so much fun to see everyone’s love of quilting or crafting and the projects they bring to work on. There were lots of pretty quilts in the works by these ladies!

I have opened up a couple more weekends for July and August. Maybe one of these weekends will work for your group!

There were several ladies trying to get a retreat scheduled during those months.

This past weekend, a fun new group joined us. One of the interesting things was that most of them had never been to a retreat.

They worked on some really neat projects and has so much fun they are planning another one next year!

Thanks to AI, King George, being close by, stopped by to sew a few stitches.
