The Mulberry Tree Inn Nestled in the quiet historic district of South Dennis, the Mulberry Tree Inn is a haven of peace and tranquility.

Built in 1802 by Captain Eleazer Nickerson the inn has been carefully restored yet maintains the honor and architecture of it's past. The inn served as a US Post Office for the village of South Dennis in the 1800's and now serves as a beautiful and quaint bed and breakfast. Merry Christmas to all of our family, friends, and guests. As the year comes to an end we have made the very difficult decision to ” retire” from inn keeping. It is time to start the next chapter.
It has been a privilege to have so many wonderful guests pass through our inn and home. Many of you have become dear friends and all of you have enriched our lives in so many ways. We will be forever grateful that you chose to stay at our inn and helped us fulfill the dream of running a Bed and Breakfast.
May the New Year bring you all health and happiness. Please keep in touch. You never know, we may miss you all so much we may see you again in 2024.

One of the best things about inn keeping are the people we have met along the way. One of our favorite couples recently visited and presented us with this beautiful handmade gift upon their departure. Of course if you have ever visited the Mulberry Tree Inn you know we love tea cups! It is truly a keepsake and we will treasure it forever. Thank you Lynda and Greg Chornomaz ❤️

Hiking today in Truro at Pamet Road Trails and met this very kind man who gave us this rock which he had painted. He calls them “goodwill stones” and has been sharing them with strangers throughout COVID. Such a gift and a true random act of kindness. Also very fitting that the lighthouse has a Christmas wreath.!

During these uncertain and scary times we try to stay focused on all the blessings we have in our lives. All of our guests have filled our life with knowledge, friendship, laughter, gratitude, and memories. At this time of year we would normally be readying for our upcoming season but due to the present circumstances we will not be opening May 1 as planned. Hopefully we will be able to see many of you by the summer but for now we all have to be safe and take care of each other. Thank you all so much.
