As the week at Tahoe wraps up, the Home Depot Wagon* DID come down the street and delivered a NEW, super duty washer! Guests on property are now using NEW equipment with glee!

Following our early July trip to Tahoe Acres, Bill thought there might be some attention needed to the clothes washer there. An inspection was delayed due to multiple power failures in the area (I guess that happens), but it seems that the clothes washer IS close to the end of it's service life!!!! Time for some ACTION!!

On MONDAY, the HOME DEPOT wagon will be coming down the street, with a new washer for you 'n me!

It's just what we do. It's a very heavy duty one, so it will serve you well.

Hmmmm....... A little work style desk in the master bedroom? Sounds like a good idea to us!! Let's see how fast that can happen!! Don't think it can't be done --- We're the family that got the new gas fireplace installed over the 4th of July!!!

SPRING has arrived at Tahoe Acres with summer coming right up, so of course our attention turns to FALL!!

Winter went well, without a single guest suggestion on how something could be maintained or improved! We must be doing things RIGHT!!

One thought was upgrading the television / theater experience for you in the living room. There are TV screens that now approach 100 inches in size, and maybe that's just what we need for your Fall and Winter visits! The current screen could find a new home in the grand bedroom, enhancing your experience THERE, too!

We will LOVE to hear what you think about the idea!

During spring inspections, a defect in the fireplace chimney was detected. For safety, we have closed the fireplace for the summer season and are arranging repairs to be completed long before the cool Fall weather makes you think about the fireplace again!

BIG SNOW is happening at TAHOE right now, hopefully to the delight of guests staying there right now! I assume they're enjoying all those things we did in 2025, making their stay superior in every way we can think of! That's why we DO stuff like that! One of our friends detected that a fan timer wasn't working when they stayed before the holidays. Maintenance then replaced ALL OF THEM, keeping everything top notch!

Have you heard that some South Nevada hotels are now charging $50 to use the mini fridge in your room? Fortunately, Tahoe Acres has a full size refrigerator AND a delightful beverage cooler for you ALL AT NO CHARGE! AND, our casinos up the street are more fun, too! So there!

The triple crown!! All THREE decks have been refreshed, and they look great, finishing off the exterior "brightening up"! You may notice that the edge boards are a different color. Nobody told us to do this, but it's a signal indicating the end of the decks. You know that saying about an "ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure"? We live that. Hope you like it!

Talk about tiny details! Well, tiny until they become important! This is the new shower head in the "kid's" bathroom. Nothing special, until you think of a baby needing a bath! The tub itself is CLEAN white, so you can SEE everything. There is no shower door, so the curtain can be FULLY opened, allowing full access to an active baby with NOTHING in the way. The toilet cover is a SOLID WOOD seat, for parent comfort and stability! Oh yes, then there is that little shower head (new for July) on a hose for a FUN bath for baby. Just a little detail. Kind of like we think about that stuff!! ENJOY!!!

Another example: That new, beautiful and solid gaming table is larger than the old one it replaced. (That wasn't hard to see coming)! SO, the overhead lighting was WAY off! It didn't take long to install a proper hook in the right place and get the fixture JUST RIGHT, but it had to be done - and done right!
