It is with great sadness that we report the loss of our beloved Bob Bell.
Bobby Clayton Bell passed from our lives on April 17, 2025. He was born to Mildred Beckner Bell and Clayton Bell on December 14, 1934.
A proud graduate of Texas A&M University class of ’56 , Bob will be remembered by all who knew him. Two sport athlete in school, Army Airborne, Pilot and lifelong entrepreneur Bob personified out of the box thinking. He loved hunting, fishing and travel, seeing most of the world. An outstanding sales person for the agriculture industry, IBM, and construction equipment, he founded and operated Lift Crane in Houston for many years. He also loved ranching. His final years were spent running Wanna Wanna on South Padre Island with his beloved Pennie Hutchins.
Bob was one of a kind constantly looking for creative ways to approach everything in life. His ability to create deals and push boundaries will not be seen again.
He is survived and lovingly remembered by his children; Hari Khalsa, Bryan Bell (Jennifer), Chris Bell, Byron Vassberg (Clarissa), Brad Vassberg, and Vanessa Hutchins; grandchildren Nick (Andrea) Bell, Grant (Nicole) Vassberg, Allison (Zachary) Whittaker, Trent (Megan) Vassberg, Andrew Erps, Bailey Erps, Heston (Baileigh) Hand and Macy Hand; and his great grandchildren Banks Bell, Daisy Bell, Tristan Vassberg, Blaire Vassberg, Desmond Whittaker, and Ethan Vassberg.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am on May 18,2025 at Wanna Wanna
