One of my favorite ways to start the day. The leaves softly blowing, the birds chirping, morning greetings, the fragrance of the sea and the wooded areas along the walk, and the bluest of blue skies. This is my peace. 🩵

Our nap nook got a glow up! New sunrise rug and a bigger coffee table. This is the perfect place to cool down in the central air-conditioned vintage entry. So relaxing, you might fall asleep. The futon even opens to a full-sized bed so you can nap with a friend after spinning the globe to see where your next adventure might take you. ✨

Did you know that our coffee table is big enough for a 1,000 piece puzzle?! And guess what? We just bought one today. A perfect challenge to work on throughout the week.

This is Paul. Paul has been mowing our lawn since we bought our cottage. If you see Paul mowing our lawn while you’re staying at our cottage, give him a wave. We consider him to be a special part of our family, and although our grass isn’t always green in color, it’s always trimmed by Paul, and we appreciate him. 💚

Cozy up with our authentic 1970s backgammon set! A beautiful way to relax on the couch when the weather isn’t cooperating. Or hang out in the backyard under the lights after dinner. This was my parent’s set and has certainly been well-loved over the years.

Three day weekend!!!!
The Yarmouth Seaside Festival is my VERY FAVORITE weekend of the year! This is the time of year where I really feel the community on Cape Cod. There are races, sand sculptures, craft fairs, live music, fireworks, and my very favorite event…the bonfire! This will be the first year that we miss it due to a family commitment. If you’re available for the long weekend, I can’t urge you enough to take advantage of this fabulous event on Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples Day weekend. You can walk to the bonfire from the cottage! A perfect weekend, with or without the kids. 💙

Isn’t it amazing how refreshed you can feel after a long weekend? Sometimes it’s just enough to reset your life and see the joy in the simple moments. We love sharing our home and receiving these special notes from our guests. Cape Cod is a magical place and sometimes 3-nights are all you need.
