We're off to a great season. I hope our renters are making great memories at the Smiling Seahorse. We'll be down next week (a little early) for our mid-season maintenance check. Looking forward to finishing the season strong. We've already started planning for next season (if anyone has suggestions). Thanks to all our renters, Sun Reality, and our newest vendor, Caribbean Pool, for your patronage and for keeping our house and pool well kept.

We love adding things to the Smiling Seahorse that we think our guest will enjoy. This year we found this set. What a job it was to carry this up the stairs! We see renters playing cards at night or enjoying dinner overlooking the pool and volley ball court. Its getting close to opening day. Soon the pool will be open. Another great season (2024) coming to an end. I hope all our renters made many great memories. I have heard from a few and the feedback has been extremely positive. My timing this week could not have been any better. I arrived to a beautiful sunset (See below). As you can see the beaches look great and as just as crowded as always (One yoga person). We are starting our plans for 2025 including a multi year plan to replace decking starting in the back for 2025. We also snagged a great deal on these chairs for the porch. Many thanks to our property management company Sun Realty Outer Banks Vacation Rentals and our manager barnett . Looking forward to another great season in 2025.

Just got back from our mid year maintenance/house check. The Smiling Seahorse is doing well! Feedback so far has been very positive. I am a little shocked at how crowded the beach was this morning (see pictures). Hope the rest of the season continues to be great and renters make many great memories! PS..love our lifeguards. Thanks for keeping the beach safe in front of our house.
