Hey everybody, check out the cherries. We picked off the cherry tree tonight. And those still yet more to come cherry tree still has probably about the same amount still on it. That aren’t quite ripe yet. Cherry pie anybody?

We here at Spearfish bed-and-breakfast would like to say a very Happy Memorial Day to everybody. We hope you had a wonderful weekend, we hope you enjoyed time with family and friends, we hope you were able to get out and take part in a ceremony at a local national cemetery, honoring the brave men and women who died serving this wonderful country , to give us the freedoms that we enjoy every day.
We were able to go to our wonderful, beautiful, amazing Black Hills national Cemetery, so that we could pay our respects to my husband, Bill’s father and mother, to his uncle and his aunt and to my cousin Russell Sass on this Memorial Day! Memorial day also is the kickoff to our summer season beginning of our 11th year and we’re looking forward to meeting new friends and reuniting with old ones. Let’s make 2025 a great summer!!

Lucky is plum, exhausted from helping daddy and me pick all those apples. He needed to take much earned kitty nap. Boy, I wish I could sleep that hard.

Look at all the apples we got off our apple tree tonight! Yes, I know they’re not completely red, but we had a beat the birds if we wanted to keep them. They taste good to make a pie or two.

We had an absolute great time at Jelly Roll last night at the legendary Buffalo Chip campground. That man is awesome!
