Dolly Parton will always be remembered as someone who loved her Tennessee home, especially the mountains of East Tennessee.

She carried that spirit with her all over the world, as heard through her music and seen through her philanthropy.

Dolly was a true champion of Tennessee’s natural beauty.

“In my Tennessee mountain home crickets sing in the fields nearby.”

We hope you’ll find a quiet place to listen to the sounds of nature in our parks as you connect with the spirit of our beautiful state and reflect on Dolly’s legacy.
