It’s true…
We talked to some homeowners who were ANGRY
Angry at their property manager, angry at the housekeepers, angry at themselves that they didn’t switch managers sooner.
We had 6 homeowners switch their management over to us this year.
Here’s some common things that kept popping up in conversation:
“I didn’t get any bookings for 3-6 months…zero…none…nada”
“I didn’t even know who the local contact person was for my home anymore. I had to chat with a robot or overseas customer service rep before even getting ahold of the person who is supposed to be taking care of my home”
“They kept on adding these recurring fees I didn’t see coming. An annual linen fee, trash fee, or a technology fee..what even is that?!”
We’ve heard it all.
This business is simple, but not easy.
Simple: take care of your homeowners, homes, and guests. In that order.
But it’s far from easy.
That’s why most property management companies have lower than a 4.5 star average.
In vacation rental terms, a 4.5 star is the bottom of the barrel, and it’s a clear indicator that:
-Homeowners are frustrated
-Guests are underwhelmed
-Homes are left uncared for
Don’t wait to switch managers.
