Hello everyone,

I am the former owner of this home. I don't want to give a lot of personal details, but as many of you probably know, much of the home has been harmed. I had to escape a dangerous situation with my small son and I shortly after moving to this home, and it was destroyed by squatters for over two years despite my many efforts to try to fight and protect the home. Squatter's rights in this state are very unfair to property owners.

The home was extremely dear to me and my biggest life dream accomplishment, something I thought I could never obtain. It grieves me severely to have lost it, but mostly, that it was harmed in this way. I know this home is meaningful to many in the community and the former owners. Had I known what the future would have held, I would have never bought this beautiful historical home.

It is on the market right now and already has a couple of offers. I am praying that someone who loves the home will beautifully restore it to the best of their abilities. If the future owners ever read this and they have a heart for respecting the historical significance of this home, please reach out and I would love to give you small historical things I was able to save and share the story of myself and previous owners.

After two long years of trauma both personally and what this home had to go through, I am hopeful that the new owners will love it back to life and care of it like it deserves. I believe I will always grieve the loss of this home that was so much more than a home to me, but seeing her loved and cared for again would bring so much healing to my family and I and bring some sense of closure.

Hello everyone!
We have had more questions about if this is a place to be toured. Unfortunately, we are now a private residence and young couple raising our kiddo. We are so blessed to have the house as it has always been my favorite home in Spokane, and my biggest life goal since I was thirteen was to own a Queen Anne Victorian home. Although it is not open to the public, feel free to take pictures outside of the gate, read the sign, and don't be shy to ask questions if you see us out in the yard. I am hoping to create handouts to put in the flyer box in the future to share more of the history of the home. :)
