It's another lovely weekend at Anchor Woods and Anchor Bay! Lake or trails, chillaxing at your site or visiting neighbors, eating out/golfing/gambling/fishing - so much to do in our corner of the Northwoods!

Frozen treats for kiddos on the lake this afternoon, pina coladas at the RED, WHITE & BREW starting at 4.

It's set to be a fun day at Anchor Campgrounds! Some of our campers are participating in the first poker run for Rolling Hills ATV and Snowmobile Club, while others are enjoying the lake or beautiful Northwoods. We are also having Christmas in July - Santa will be here at 6 at the Red, White and Brew. Kids can enjoy decorating our Christmas tree while adults enjoy good company and cocktails - and even a sample of traditional Swedish Glögg that is always served at Christmas!

Santa will be visiting the young and young at heart tonight at Anchor and at RED, WHITE & BREW ! We are so excited - we thought he and his reindeer may have been needed to fight fires up north, but he will be here tonight at 6.

May 1, 2, 3 Opening Weekend - Welcome! It's Kentucky Derby Weekend!
Saturday:
4 p.m. - 7 p.m.: Mint Juleps at the Red, White and Brew (and other drinks)
5:30 p.m.: "Hat Pick" game - draw a horse for $10. Watch the Kentucky Derby while sipping a mint julep with us at 5:57 pm and cheer on your horse. Winner takes half the pot - the other half goes to the Gilbert Brown Foundation and the floatie fund. Come meet your fellow seasonal campers/say hello after a long winter, have fun and support a good cause.
