A special moment at The Hideaway this weekend—some visitors stopped by to reminisce about time spent here with their grandparents back in the 1970s and 80s.

They shared childhood memories of Christmas in the old Fisher House sunroom, summers running around the property, and even shared an image of a painting their grandmother did in 1980.

So cool to see the layout and trees from nearly 50 years ago. Love when history and memories come home.

Tested out the new cedar barrel sauna last night to be sure it is all ready for our September-May guests.

Did two sessions: 150º @ 25% humidity for 15 minutes, a 5 minute cool down and then 160º @ 30% humidity for 15 minutes.
