The balmy August night concert with beloved Libby York as part of our “Jazz on the Patio” series at the Lilley Mansion was a sold out smash hit.
A fan favorite, Libby has been the first act since we started this event 4 years ago. Accompanied by Rodney Whitaker on bass and Tom Vaitsas on keyboard she mesmerized the audience once again with her uniquely elegant and sophisticated way of telling stories wrapped in a song.

Last nights “Jazz on the Patio” concert with Andy Brown from Chicago and and Jon-Erik Kellso from New York didn’t go as planned because of thunderstorm warnings. Instead of cancelling however, we were able to move the event from the Lilley Mansion into the Tanglefoot pavilion at the last minute. Thank you for such impromptu support Spring lake Village manager Brady Selner!
It ended up not raining but we don’t regret the move of venues. Watching and listening to these amazing musicians with the back drop of the sun setting over the Grand River was truly spectacular.

The Lilley Mansion is proud to have been chosen once again as the official headquarters for Commandant Admiral Kevin Lunday, Mrs. LyndaLee Lunday and their entire team during the 2026 Coast Guard Festival. It is their third time with us and we sure start feeling like family. We also like to extend our gratitude to the Grand Haven Coast Guard Festival Office, especially Mary Eagin and Tracy Riley for their tireless support and inspiring engagement!

Join members of the Tri-Cities Historical Museum for a relaxed evening of conversation, refreshments, and community at the beautiful Lilley Mansion in Spring Lake.

Enjoy light hors d'oeuvres and beverages while learning more about the upcoming Tri-Cities Historical Museum millage renewal ballot question on August 4. Millage Renewal Committee members and Museum leadership will be available to share how millage funding supports free admission, educational programs, collections preservation, and the Museum's continued service to our Tri-Cities community.

We’re looking forward to our sold out “Jazz on the Patio”- Season opener with the fabulous Paul Keller Trio. They were absolutely sensational last year and everyone who was lucky enough to get a ticket will be in for jazzilicious treat this Friday evening. Beverages are on ice and our famous “Jazz plate” with a selection of heavy appetizers will be offered all through the evening.

The Lilley Mansion has lost its mascot to a terribly sudden decline in health. “Kitty Kitty Soft Paw” was a loyal companion during an integral part of my life and the Mansion’s recent history as a B&B. Beloved by the staff as well as the guests, she will be sorely missed. The house feels empty and especially quiet without her randomly attention seeking meowing. 💔R.I.P. Kitty💔
