Hidden deep in the Chippewa National Forest on 44 wooded acres along 800 feet of pristine lakeshore on Sand Lake of the Bowstring chain, Tam O'Shanter is a well-kept secret. This magical hideaway, located 50 miles northwest of Grand Rapids, Minnesota is id

eal for family gatherings, romantic getaways, and hunting and fishing vacations. (June-September) Tam O'Shanter's rustic lodge is available to traditional Irish and Celtic musicians for session space. Tam O’Shanter cabins come equipped with refrigerator, range, microwave and coffee maker. Guests bring their own bath and beach towels. All cabins have one bathroom with a shower. Use of canoes and water toys are included with cabin rental. We have ample dock space for your boat. Some boat rentals are available at neighboring resorts. Cost: $190 per night for up to 4 people. Firm, no pet and no smoking policy on all cabins. Cabin 5
