It’s that time of year again, when the park temporarily ends shuttle service and allows private vehicles on the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive. Shuttles will not be running from December 1 through 22. During that time, plan for limited parking.

🚧 🚗 When parking in the canyon is full, we may temporarily close the Scenic Drive to additional cars until space becomes available again.
🌱 🚘 Only park in designated areas. Do not park on vegetation.

🚌🎄 Shuttle service will resume for the holidays from December 23 through January 3. During this time, private vehicles will not be allowed on the Scenic Drive. For details about this schedule, please visit our website.

Join us for a bit of the Irish fun Saturday morning March 15th at 10 AM as we screen the Disney classic "Darby O'Gill and the Little People". A frisky old storyteller named Darby O'Gill is desperately seeking the proverbial pot of gold. There is jus one tiny thing standing in his way a 21 inch leprechaun named King Brian. In order to get the gold, Darby must match his wits against the shrewd little trickster-which proves no small task. Free admission.

Hey winter break visitors! Here's what you need to know before visiting the park.

Zion Canyon Shuttle and the Springdale Shuttle will be operating starting tomorrow from Friday, December 20 to Sunday, December 29. The Zion Canyon Shuttle takes you up the Zion Canyon Scenic Ddrive to our most popular hikes, and the Springdale Shuttle take you through Springdale up to the park pedestrian entrance fee booth.

The first bus leaves the Zion Canyon Visitor Center at 8 a.m. The last shuttle leaves the Visitor Center at 3 p.m., after that, you cannot go up canyon for the day. The last shuttle leaving the canyon departs from stop 9: Temple of Sinawava at 5:45 p.m.

The Springdale shuttle runs from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., so make sure to time when you leave the park, so you don't miss the bus. Remember, do not plan on taking the last shuttle of the day! If you miss the shuttle, that's a long, cold walk back.

As a reminder during this time private vehicles are not permitted on the scenic drive. Personal vehicle use starts back up December 30. We expect more visitors during the holiday season, so pack your patience and we look forward to seeing you in the park!
