Gary may be gone, but his beloved inn will live on. Gary’s family and The wonderful staff of WSI will continue to offer the same warm hospitality, beautiful guest rooms, delicious breakfasts, and delightful getaways that we've offered for over 23 years.

In fact, we are inspired with a mission to carry on on behalf of Gary!

We apologize for any inconvenience, but the Events Department of the Walnut Street Inn will be going on hiatus until further notice. Please come stay with us though; that is a wonderful event itself. Thank you.

Today we host an event we never planned on; a Celebration of Life for our dearly departed owner/innkeeper, Gary Blankenship. Celebrate this amazing man with us from near or far, by saying a prayer for him and his loved ones, and/or join us at the Walnut Street Inn from 2-8 pm today. We will share love and laughs to honor a most amazing man.

It is with a broken heart that we let you know that we lost our beloved husband, father, friend, and innkeeper to a heart attack last night. There is a hole in our hearts right now and he will be missed.

Gary's wish was to not have a traditional funeral, but to have a celebration with friends and family. This will be held at the Walnut Street Inn later this week. More details to come.

The O’Callaghan’s are adding one more to their brood of boys, but this one is a GIRL! 💗💕👛🌸🎀

So baby girl was “Sprinkled with Love” today. So much fun... Especially since momma is my cousin. Loved helping host this very special event.
