Paul Bunyan Family Campground Under new ownership as of 2025! Open May 1 -Oct. 15 We have pull through and back in sites, as well as full hookup or just water and electric.

With many renovations to come & convenient online reservations available on our website, enjoy easy access off 23, tent, cabin, & RV sites, outdoor pool, game room, pavilion, events, dog park & showers. Along with great sites we also have a game room, pool, store, and bathrooms with showers. There's plenty to do in the area with Alpena, Harrisville, and Hubbard Lake only being 15 miles away allowing you to get a feel for northern Michigan. Whether you want to fish, view gorgeous scenery, see famous landmarks, or just want a place to get away and relax, we are the place for you.

We went exploring into the tiny shed to inspect a long-forgotten pool cover to see if we could use it in the off season and guess what we found in our explorations?

Our 2 Halloween weekends were a BLAST! thank you to our campers for making them so epic and fun! We had site decoration contests, spooky bingo, Halloween themed crafts and games, chili cook-off, trick or treating, and spooky dance parties. Watch the video for more deets!

We're constantly looking for cost-effective ways to beautify the campground and these raspberry bushes are perfect! We were connected with a generous lady who had too many in her garden and wanted to support the campground in some way - we think these will be so fun and pretty next year! What do you think?
