It's race day! Grab your friends and family come on out and cheer on the mushers. The first will be arriving to Barney's around 12-1pm today.

Please mark your calendars on January 10th and 11th for the 2014 Voyageurs Classic Sled Dog Race. Barney's will again host a Vet checkpoint for the race. Does anyone have spectator ideas/requests? Official race details can be found at www.voyageursclassic.com

Once again, we invite you to come and join us for the Voyageurs Classic Sled Dog Race on January 10th and 11th, 2014 headquartered at the Northome School. Vet checks start at noon on Friday, January 10th at the school. There is a mandatory Mushers meeting at 7:30 Friday evening at the school as well...

BEAVER EGGS: At a local restaurant, a family of 5 entered and proceeded to be seated for dinner. A young girl and her parents sat down at the family sized booth. The older brother looked behind to see his younger brother peeking over the table of the adjacent booth. (see our discussion board for the full story...a laugh will be provided :)
