Last night, Members enjoyed an unforgettable evening at the MAC Speaker Series with NHL legend, Stanley Cup Champion, St. Louis Blues Hall of Famer, and author Chris Pronger. Joined by moderator Martin Kilcoyne, Pronger shared stories from his remarkable NHL career, insights from his memoir, Earned: The True Cost of Greatness, and reflections on the challenges and sacrifices behind success before opening the floor for an engaging audience Q&A.

As a special takeaway, every attendee received a signed copy of Earned, with Pronger personally autographing books for all in attendance.

Thank you to Chris Pronger for an incredible evening at the Missouri Athletic Club and thank you to everyone who joined for this memorable event.

On August 25, members of the Military History Club welcomed Vietnam War veteran Frank Kimball for a presentation on his service with the elite Misty Forward Air Controllers (FACs).

Kimball shared firsthand accounts of flying dangerous low-altitude missions over enemy territory, directing air strikes along the Ho Chi Minh Trail, and serving alongside the courageous pilots of the top-secret MISTY squadron.

The evening offered a powerful look into one of the Vietnam War’s most daring operations and honored the extraordinary service and sacrifice of those who flew these missions.
