Hints of Fall in the air and on the trail... The ferns are just beginning to yellow, and this just kicks in my anticipation of lovely lovely FALL!

Aspen has climbed to the top and would like everyone to know that he is now the Branch Manager at Lumberjack Village. 🐐🌲

His qualifications include excellent balance, endless curiosity, and looking ridiculously handsome from every angle. Stop by and meet the new boss!

Goat Love 💕

🐐🖤 Move over, goat yoga... we've got a Goat Whisperer in Boulder Junction.

Bob Black: Official Goat Whisperer (according to Aspen, Cedar & Timber 🐐🐐🐐).

Some people attract attention. Bob attracts goats. 😄

The boys wasted no time surrounding Bob and making sure he knew he was their newest best friend. If you need help finding the goats at Lumberjack Village, don't worry... they'll find you.

We've been told that Lands End used to be a popular bear hunting area. So we figured we needed somewhat of a suitable mascot! We will be bringing him home soon from Lumberjack Village. Hmm, I guess he'll need a name... Any ideas?

A new venue in town, Lumberjack Village! Stop in and check out the charming little shops, relics of the lumberjacking era, the walking path to the lake, and wood carvings in progress! There might be a bonfire. There will eventually be beer. And there's a cookout come July 3rd!

But the best part of the place: the people and the goats!

Located on Old K, not far from the post office. Just a walk away from Boulder Junction Brewery and Boulder Junction Coffee Company!

And just like that, Spring melted into Summer in the Northwoods....

You know how there's that one day each year when you feel the transition, that day when Spring slips out and Summer bursts in?

Today, Memorial Day, was that day.

Fronds unfurl, flowers blossom, the sun warms our skin, the dappled canopy of leaves rustle and soothe the soul. This glorious land we have been gifted with!

Today we honor our fallen, those who gave their lives so that we may live as freely and bountifully upon this land as we do. What a gift!

May we always cherish and protect this gift they sacrificed their lives for.

Happy Memorial Day.
